I've been in Reno, NV, this week having meetings with a client.  Early this morning, as I was getting ready to go to the airport, all of the sudden, I heard the words "healing environment" coming from the TV in my hotel room.

It was a commercial for the local hospital system, Carson Tahoe Health. If they are doing what they say they are doing in this commercial, then they really get the connection between the environment and outcomes:

It's not the first time I've seen a hospital use the words healing environment to market itself.  But it's maybe one of the best examples I've seen.

Great commercial! I hope the landscape on their hospital grounds is better than what I saw in the few clips, though. The views to the existing landscape look lovely but the gardens on-site don't look inspiring or nurturing.
